The first annual Kevin Scott Brown Rocking the Stocking concert is held on this day at the Red Lion Pub on Walton Way. The debut show, featuring live music by Augusta bands Family Jewels and Lil’ Venice, would be the first memorial concert honoring Brown, a long-time Augusta musician who passed away a month earlier.
