CONfederation of LOUDness Controversy / Time Change

For over a year now Lokal Loudness and the Confederation of Noisemakers have teamed up to present CONFEDERATION OF LOUDNESS, a weekly two hour online live talk radioshow featuring commentary from CON’s Brian “Stak” Allen and our own John “Stoney” Cannon.  Each week (barring an absence or two here and there) COL has mixed music from Augusta area and related artists with commentary on the Augusta music scene (not to mention other topics such as general Augusta discussion and pro/college sports) every Sunday afternoon.  In an effort to present a better show (and to avoid conflicting with Falcons games, wrestling events, band practice, and Sunday afternoon hair of the dog drinking binges), Stoney and Stak have decided to move the start time of the show forward four hours to 9PM each Sunday night.  But don’t worry.  Listeners will still get Stak’s straight-forward opinion, Stoney’s stumbling delivery, and plenty of lokal music….not to mention a bit of controversy ocassionally.

Speaking of controversy, this past Sunday Stoney & Stak talked in detail about last weekend’s Augusta Chronicle Singer-Songwriter Contest finals.  Many listeners were amused, many listeners were outraged, but most listeners were upset that a) They were not aware that the discussion would be taking place so they could listen live and participate and b) upset that the call-in number wasn’t presented enough to be able to call in.  Well for those wishing to bitch about the event, bitch about Stak & Stoney’s comments, or just talk about anything else, the topic will be held over ONLY for anyone wishing to call in.  There will NOT be a part two of the discussion but anyone wishing to call the show Sunday between 9 and 11 pm at (347-327-9127 (remember long-distance charges apply so using a cell with free weekends would be recommended) is free to throw in their two cents.
