Columbia County 4th of July Celebration

Fort Gordon’s Independence Day celebration will take place from 5 to 11 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at Barton Field on Fort Gordon. The event features a performance by the U.S. Signal Corps Band, children’s carnival and pony rides, games and food vendors. Go to www.facebook.com/fortgordon.
Riverblast

Star-Spangled Fourth Concert

This annual event follows the fireworks on Riverwalk with afterglow barbecue in the River and Berlin rooms and a performance by the Independence Day Chorus and Orchestra.
