James Brown may be physically gone from this world but Augusta’s greatest musical export to the world is still grabbing headlines. Here is a tidbit we found earler today:
In a news post called “Brown May Be Mr. Nickname” written for Walnut Creek, CA newspaper Contra Costa Times earler today, columnist Stanley Newman wrote “Singer James Brown had five well-known nicknames: “The Godfather of Soul,” “The Hardest Working Man in Show Business,” “Mr. Dynamite,” “Mr. Please Please” and “Soul Brother No. 1.” Is there any celebrity (past or present) with more well-known nicknames? If you can think of any, please let us know.”
