Augusta indie-rock trio, winners of this years Augusta Chronicle Singer-Singwriter contest, announced this morning via a blog on their MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/languageartsrocks that drummer James Albert McGaw will soon be relocating to Chicago, IL and that remaining members, guitarist/vocalist Kurt Alfred Garin and bassist Natalie Dawn Roberts, are searching for someone new to keep the beat. The post also states that while Garin and Roberts are sad to see McGaw move on, they wish the best for the departing drummer.
“Jamie has been blessed with an opportunity that he just cannot pass up - so very understandably, we accept this change. Although we are going to miss him like heck, we can’t help but feel excited for him as he pursues his new endeavor in Chicago!”
Garin and Roberts are looking for ”a drummer who is serious about making music a priority in their life.” and interested drummers can contact them at: languageartsrocks@gmail.com - SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
