Double EP Expected Soon from Willie Mac
As reported on his MySpace page: www.myspace.com/willmccranie, Augusta native turned New York transplant Will McCranie will be releasing a double ep of material recorded partially before his move and the partially since arriving in the Big Apple. The double ep to be titled North / South will comprise of one ep titled North made up of six songs recorded during a session at the Buddy Project in Queens, NY over Labor Day weekend 2008, and a second ep cleverly titled South which is essentially an official release of the GREENEYESSPEAKTRUTHiNLiES cd which was released in limited form prior to McCranie’s jump North. The tracks on the South disc were recorded from June 2007 to February 2008 between Augusta, GA and Columbia, SC with the help of Jacob Beltz, Erik Hargrove, and John Kolbeck. That disc also will feature six tracks.
