New “Backwoods” album from Josh Kelley
Didn’t he just release an album? Yeah, that’s what I said. I wrote about his last album “Special Company” back in January. He’s back with a stripped down roots album that is markedly different from his February release.
Josh Kelly’s “Backwoods” is raw, acoustic, and very Southern. “Antifreeze” is a great Southern blues track. When I heard it, I immediately thought of that Ralph Macchio movie from the 80’s Crossroads
Whether you like blues, soul, acoustic, or roots music, this is an album I think you should check out.
