The band will have lyric sheets available but are insistent that prospective vocalist do not arrive at auditions unprepared. Shotgun Opera has also stated:

“…we are not looking for screamers, growlers, or raspy singers. We have that covered. We want someone with a wide vocal range and the ability to harmonize well. Also, we don’t want anyone who can’t make the band a priority. We practice at least twice a week, and are working up a heavy show schedule. If your job, family, or life in general sets restrictions on your available times, please don’t waste our time or yours. Also, we play in a lot of bars, so no one under 21.”
