As the online music waves have been abuzz with new music from area artists, another new music contribution comes by way of Augusta rockers The Edison Project. Two new songs, “The Great Identity Crisis” and “Dark Skies Over Eva”, have been posted on the band’s MySpace: www.myspace.com/edisonproject and are listed as being from the “Nickel & Dime Session”. The tracks were recorded at Atlanta’s Nickel & Dime Studio, a former music venue that had played host to Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin and The Black Crowes, among others. While the session was done in late February, the actual date of the songs being posted are unknown to us here at Lokal Loudness.
