We Be Getting LOUDER!

With a renewed interest in lokal music, a resurgance of new bands, new recordings, and new venues, the new and improved Lokal Loudness dropped just at the right time. With news arriving in almost daily it was only logical for us here at Lokal Loudness to immediately jump to the next step in our evolution in order to keep up with an exploding Augusta music scene. So with that being said, let us introduce you to the latest additions to the Lokal Loudness family.

As the co-host of lokal tv program Georgia-Carolina Wrestling, Jason Norton is a natural choice to take over hosting duties for LOUDtv, our online weekly video program which you can watch here on this very site. Jason, a born and bred Augustan, is a BBA graduate of ASU and is the Resource Development Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club of Augusta. In addition to his LOUDtv duties Jason will be covering shows as well as contributing editorials on community events.

Most people in Augusta know Nick Laws, owner of Sector 7G. Nick will be tossing in shows reviews, in particular all-ages coverage as well as interesting editorials from time to time. Nick, a former member of the band Spyt and The Sixth Hour, currently plays in Radar Cinema and the G-City Rockers and is a member on the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and Museum board of directors.

Welcome to the party guys…
