Two New Releases Expected from Hello Lefty
As reported via email and on the bands’ myspace, Hello Lefty are planning on putting out a pair of releases in the first half of 2008. Tracks from the first release, titled “Le Casa Azul EP”, can be heard on the band’s myspace. The new tunes, “A Hot Damn”, “Trees”, “Good Shoes” & “Trial and Error”, fall into the familiar Hello Lefty sound while exhibiting a mix of maturity and gritty rawness. Reportedly the band will spend springtime completing their first official full length release so the possibility of summerime being filled with tons of new Hello Lefty material is highly possible. What could be more “summery” than that?
For Hello Lefty’s Augusta fans concerned that all this recording time will mean a void in the Hello Lefty live continuum, fear not. The guys return to Sector 7G on April 4th with The Cubists and The Never.
