Is April Set to Be Dirty Left Hand Month?
With all the hype surrounding April in the A-U-G every year it’s a wonder that Augustans don’t just up and explode. What with the Masters, Spring Break, Easter, Rock Fore Dough and of course my mother’s favorite holiday, the birth of her only child moi, me, I, Stoney, how could there possibly be room for anything else? Well Augusta best be ready for there is cause for alarm that the April dam may final bust with the impending release of the upcoming cd by Joe Graves and the Dirty Left Hand, “We’ve Hit Ground”.
Already a buzz has infiltrated the late winter air via new tracks on the bands myspace, http://www.myspace.com/joegravesandthedirtylefthand, and if the tracks “1965″, “The Shortest Hour”, and the title track are any indication of what’s to come then prepare yourselves for a smack from the dirty left….well you get the idea. One has to wonder if the April 12th Firehouse show listed on their myspace is possibly a hint at the release date.
