For those weighing their options to get out of town to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day there are more choices available than just hopping down to Savannah for the city’s annual blowout. For music fans Columbia, SC may be the place to hit up to rock out all that is green this year. Admission to the 27th Annual St. Pat’s Celebration in Five Points is a mere $12.00 ($10.00 if you purchase in advance online). This years party to be held March 15th from 9 a.m. until will feature free shuttle form several parking locations, a 5K race, a strongman competition, a parade, a children’s carvival and of course, live music.

and just a heads up, Savannah will not be having it’s celebration on the 17th, but instead it will also be on the 14th due to a conflict in the catholic calendar.
