Acoustipalooza/Downtown Cleanup deemed huge success
Saturday May 19th lokal musicians Jacob Beltz and Will McCranie enjoyed the culmination of months of work as downtown musicians and volunteers came together to clean up Broad Street as a leadup to the fifth edition of Acoustipalooza.
Meeting at Metro a Coffee House, nearly two dozen people came together to cleanup the sidewalks, medians and trash cans between 12th and 8th streets on Broad. The event was topped off by a great multi-artist show at Joe’s Underground.
Future plans are to continue this as a monthly event the day after First Friday Each month.
